Support AccessHub
Keep the answers free for everyone.
AccessHub has no ads, no paywall and no “premium access needs” tier. It’s an independent project run by one person, and the running costs come out of one pocket. If it’s saved you a wasted trip or a stomach-knot phone call, a small donation keeps it here for the next family.
Where the money goes
Nothing fancy — it’s mostly paying for the information itself.
Place and access details
Every place we add costs a small fee each time it’s looked up, and the access details are refreshed regularly so nothing goes stale. That’s the biggest cost by far.
Maps and photos
The map on Explore, the accessible stays maps and the photos on place pages all run on paid map services.
Keeping it online
Hosting, backups and the domain — the boring-but-necessary stuff that keeps the site up on a Saturday morning when everyone’s planning a trip.
Time to check things
Reading reviews, chasing venues for details and tidying up anything that looks wrong takes evenings and weekends.
Giving
Donations are one-off and completely optional — nothing on this site is locked behind paying. Every penny goes back into keeping AccessHub running and adding more places.
Takes you to a secure payment form. We never see your card details.
AccessHub is an independent project built and paid for by Stephen Munro — not a large organisation with a budget behind it.
Other ways to help that mean just as much
Tell us how a visit really went
A two-line review beats a paragraph of marketing copy. Say what worked, what didn’t, and what you’d check next time.
Confirm or flag a detail
Been somewhere and found the ramp’s too steep, or the accessible toilet is actually brilliant? Say so — the next person gets a clearer picture.
Pass it on
Send AccessHub to your support group, your carers’ network, your family chat, or the venue you love. Word of mouth is how this reaches people.
Every bit makes the next trip easier
Reviews, confirmations and a bit of word of mouth are what turn a thin list of places into something you can actually plan around. Thank you for being part of it.
